Queen Rania of Jordan convened a meeting with the star actress during her Amman visit. Her meeting came as part of her welfare work for Syrian refugees. She lauded Rania’s efforts for playing a role to counter dreadful aftermath of the Syrian crisis.

Rebel Wilson has a heart of gold

Pitch Perfect actress is to give USD 3.6 million to charity, the amount of money she earnt in compensation in a defamation suit this week.

The actress who also appeared in Pain & Gain sued European company Bauer Media for carrying articles claiming she lied about her background and age to favour her career. The celebrity sued the company and was awarded USD 3.6 million in compensation.

This is the biggest defamation compensation in Australian and would all go to charity. Rebel indeed has a heart of gold… And nunchucks skills of a ninja! Watch for yourself:

Selena Gomez undergoes a kidney transplant

The popstar had revealed in 2015 that she was diagnosed with Lupus, a condition in which your immune system starts to target healthy tissues. 

Gomez is a chronic Lupus patient and underwent a surgery this week. A friend and a telly actress donated her organ for the transplant after which she informed her social media family of the development.

Since Gomez last tweeted on September 4 (until this story was filed), we d have to rely upon her Instagram for the picture:

 

I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of. So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health. I honestly look forward to sharing with you, soon my journey through these past several months as I have always wanted to do with you. Until then I want to publicly thank my family and incredible team of doctors for everything they have done for me prior to and post-surgery. And finally, there aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis. Lupus continues to be very misunderstood but progress is being made. PTI and Bollywood

Dr Babar Awan, Dar brother, PTI chief himself along with other members of the party attended a wedding ceremony in London which also witnessed appearances by Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar among others.

The  B-Town fam  conversing with the  PTI fam  was a source of amusement for many on the social media.

Revealed:  Sanjay Dutt was shooting in the mountains during his jail time 

Manyata Dutt, wife to the B-Town star actor has revealed this week that she had to tell the kids that their father was busy shooting a film sequence in the moutains and it would take him time to return, whilst Dutt was in jail serving his time in AK-56 possession case.

It takes a lot to raise kids and have a family... Period. Not to demean s Dutt s struggle with the case, the lead characters in this story are his wife and the kids. Wife, more so.

The  Bhumi  actor was reported to have met a Pakistani  pir  in Dubai and asked him to pray for a better future for himself and the family. If this newspaper that carried the story is anything to go by, here is a picture should go with it.

Raj Kapoor Studios in Chambur of Mumbai caught fire on Saturday this week (September 16) and was in flames. Aweful sight for Bollywood fans as the  production home  of Bollywood s true showman was alight...

Fire department of Mumbai was yet to identify the cause of the eruption until this story was filed. 

Luckily there were no casualties however, the sets were reportedly in ashes.
